Tollcross was the venue for the GAA Fridaynight High Jump event. Amit Kumar was the star for the club moving  to 5th  on the  all time lists for the club with a jump of 1m.97, clearing this on his first attempt and then just missing the magical 2.00m mark. He is off to Loughborough next weekend  and the 2.00m is well within his target. His coach, Alastair Strange, is just ahead of him on the 2.00m mark  .The club record goes all the way back to 1982 when German student, Wolfgang Schaeffer, jumped 2.15m at an event at Crystal Palace when living in Scotland and competing for the club.

It was also  a successful night for a trio of the clubs young high jumpers. The Lanahan brothers, Abraham  U/15 ( 1m 55) and younger brother, Joseph U/13 (1m 58 PB) both performed well with club mate  Estelle Giraud U/17  equalling her PB 1.35m
