Congratulations to Teddy Tchoudja (Shot 14.13m) and Chris Bennett (Hammer 70.84m) who both claimed Scottish titles over the weekend at Grangemouth. David Little was also on the podium in the Hammer claiming Bronze with a distance of 45.65. Katie Woods was also on the podium with a 3rd place in the U/17 Steeplechase with a time of 5.37.61. Adam Clifford continues to improve, making a national final for the first time and placing 4th with another sub 2 run -1.59.43 .This young athlete  and Katie Woods  now look forward to the English championships which takes place in Birmingham on the weekend of 26/27th August.

Annie McLean running for her school finished 6th in the 300m (43.26)  with her club mate, Ava Millican , 45.20 in the heats. Morgan Findlay placed 5th in the Triple Jump with a distance of 10.93 and in one of the final events of the championships Amit Kumar finished 4th in the High Jump -1.93m

In a very tactical heat in the U/17 800m Matthew Fox clocked 2.12.73 

Jonathan Hooper running for his School picked up the silver medal in Long Jump with a personal best of 6.35m, he also made the final of the 100m finishing 6th in a PB of 11.44 in the 100m.

Mike Deason scored a very impressive win in 44 mile Devils of the Highlands Ultra Race .Mike has just started the Ultra races and his hard work paid off.

Meanwhile Fred Davis secured a PB of 15.08 in the Quayside 5km in Newcastle early this week when finishing 11th in a very high quality race with the winner Scott Beattie running 13.46
