Strong winds were the order of the day at the excellent organised Tom Scott event which doubled as the National 10mile road Championships around Strathclyde Park .

The ladies again were the pick of the club winning the National team title to add to their every increase list of titles this year .First home for the ladies was Rosa Donaldson (4th Lady) with the every green Avril Mason (10th lady and 2nd W50 lady) and to complete the team Tara Walker (15th Lady) to take the title from the host club Law & District .This puts the ladies top of the all time winning teams now with 4 wins ahead of Edinburgh who 3 wins

The men also  came away with a team medal finishing 3rd after a ruling that Daniel Bradford could not count in the team scoring. Daniel  was unaware he had to wear a club vest  as this was a National Championships within an open race  -he was first home for the club in 8th position . His misfortunate was a great bonus for David Houston who celebrated his 40th birthday last weekend and pick up his first national medal  -well done David. The three men counting in the team were Jonathan Moore (11th )  , Taha Ghafari (13th)  and David Houston (39th) If Daniel was  included the club would have picked up the silver behind a very strong Kilbarchan team and in front of Cambuslang on countback. The final athlete to compete from the club was Calum Oates  (58th )
