At Tollcross Parkrun it was good to see Ronnie Strachan and John Duffy back running well in 3rd and 4th place respectively. Simon Gay came in a respectable 15th position.

Meanwhile many miles away in Liverpool, Holly Morrison was running the Princes Parkrun and came in as first female.

At Drumpelier Parkrun there was clearly some pacing going on with Jodie Waite and Stephanie Zihms crossing the line together in 35.13.

At Queens Parkrun, Andrew Shields finished strongly in 10th place.

Finally it was over to Elder Park Run for event number 1. The new route is 3 and a half laps of Elder Park in Govan and a nice flat course if lots corners involved. There is also a historical connection to the Shipping engineer John Elder. Jethro Lennox came in 4th place with Rowan Lennox in a great time of 24.49. Obviously secret training going on !

The junior hill runners were out in force the next day at the Elder junior parkrun. Around half the squad ran around the flat 2km course. Getting some speed practice in. Photo above taken from the start.
