It was a large turnout at Tollcross Parkrun with no fewer than 5 Shettleston athletes in action. In order of course, Simon Gay 8th in 22.08, David Murphy 12th in 22.38, Paul Mcguigan 14th in 23.03, John Craig 21st in 24.36, and Bob Porteous in 26.18
Andrew Kirkhope ran 22.55 at the Edinburgh Parkrun.
At Victoria Parkrun Calum Oates ran 17.35 for 3rd place.
To the North of Scotland where Melanie Hayes finished the Thurso Parkrun.
At Lochend Woods Parkrun, Rowan Lennox ran 23.35 for second Junior girl with daddy ,Jethro, on 10th overall for 23.36.
Meanwhile there was the usual Dumbarton traffic chaos with Cardross Road closed on the Saturday morning to complete resurfacing throwing park runners into chaos. Nevertheless Kevin and Ava got a pb in 7th place in 19.02 with Mark McColl in 9th place in 19.48. (Photo of the start)
At Palacerigg Parkrun, John Duffy was in action running 20.18 for 5th place and it was good to see Jodie Waite finish the twisty course in a time of 33.47
