Parkrun Report week ending 18 June

And so it was over to Pollok Parkrun where John Connaghan finished strongly for 3rd place in a time of 18.50. At Tollcross Parkrun, David Murphy ran strongly to get into the top 10 in a time of 22.3 and Bob Porteous in 26.57.

Away from the hills briefly and to Victoria Park where Gerard Pelegri took it easy as he had the Men’s 10k on the Sunday. Still a decent time in 17.30 for 6th position.

At the Springburn Parkrun, Chloe Fox finished in 30.56.

Over to the southside at Queens Park where Susan Breckenridge finished in a time of 27.39.

Story of the day was at Elder Parkrun where Andrew Taylor has been trying his upmost to win this parkrun since the start of the year seemingly only able to get second place. Any other weekend and his time of 16.40 surely would have been enough however not this Saturday as Robbie Ferguson ran a scorching 14.55 to take the win.

At Holyrood Parkrun, Bryony Macleod finished in a time of 30.01.

Finally, at Palacerigg Parkrun, John Duffy finished in 4th place in a time of 20.14
