At Tollcross Park saw the Scottish Veteran Cross Country for selection the Masters International Match in Dublin on 12th November, in the Women’s Race saw Charlene McCallum finishing 4th and automatic selection for the Scottish team. In the Men’s Race Walter Henderson finished 26th with John Oates 40th.

Peter Avent 1st in Scottish 10km 31.16 at Musselburgh and Ben Fullerton running the Half Marathon finished in a time of 1.35.26

Kirsty Mann 1st female in St Andrews Hospice 6km at Strathclyde Park 

Parkruns

Firstly it was over to sunny Greenock where Mark McColl continued progress back to fitness with 3rd place.

At Bury St Edmonds parkrun Cara McCarferty finished in a time of 28.57.

Adam Clifford was first Shetteston at Tollcross in 8th place in a time of 21.47. Local resident David Murphy finished in 16th place in a time of 23.25.

At Springburn Parkrun Matthew Fox crossed the line in 9th place in a time of 19.08.

Over to Ireland and the Buncrana Parkrun where Scott McKelvie enjoyed a win with a time of 18.02.

At Lanark Moor Parkrun, a place often used for the Scottish National short course cross country, James Burns finished in 5th place in a time of 22.36.

Another top ten place at Drumpellier parkrun for Paul McGuigan in a time of 21.26.

Finally Stephanie Zihms completed the Queens Parkrun.
