Congratulations to Lynn McKenna who has been selected to compete for Scotland in the Liverpool International British Cross Event next weekend – she will be joined by our ladies team who are looking to qualify for the European Clubs Cross Championships in Portugal in early February.
Her teammate, Aoife Carr, returned home to Ireland to finish 36th in the Irish Championships with her club team, Dublin City, just missing out in the team title
There was further success for the club at Glentrees Half Marathon where the club had a clean sweep in the men’s race. This is a trail race in the Scottish Borders which is a race not for PB performances due to the amount climbing – the first 14km is up hill and run on a mix of forest roads and trails. So not easy -well done to the guys
