After a few hectic weekends of competition, many of our athletes, coaches, and officials took a well-deserved break. However, a dedicated few still found time to compete and deliver some excellent results, from the Scottish Hill Running Championships to local races and Parkruns across the country.

A Tribute to a Former Member
Word has come to the club that a former member, Willie Clark, has passed away at the age of 84. Willie was a member who served the club well during the late 50s and early 60s. He later moved south but returned home to Strathaven later in life and will be remembered by the older club members. The club would like to extend their sympathy to Willie’s family. Club President Elaine Mackay and former Secretary, Jo Scally, will attend his funeral on behalf of the club.
