Stone Storms to Success at Scottish Cycling Championships!

A massive shout-out to our junior coach Ellie Stone who clinched the Scottish Cycling Championship women’s sprint title! In a thrilling three-race final, she showed fantastic tactical nous to defeat Iona Moir and come back from a 1-0 deficit to claim the gold medal. Ellie deserves immense recognition, not just for her outstanding commitment to her own sport, but also for the tireless work she puts in coaching and inspiring our junior members every week. Ellie has had a run of great form of late, recently posting qualifying times for next years Glasgow Commonwealth Games. We hope to see hear tearing it up at the Velodrome next year!

Officials Honoured by Scottish Athletics

The club would also like to recognise the wonderful contributions of two of our long-serving officials who were honoured by Scottish Athletics: Margaret Daly (15 years) and John Mackay (10 years) received special pin badges. Margaret’s connection goes back to our original Ladies section, where she was a runner and Club Secretary for many years. Thank you both for your tireless service!
