This weekend saw further action at the Emirates Arena with the Scottish Athletics 4J Studios Indoor Age Championships.
Abraham Lanahan continued his excellent indoor season with the 200m Indoor title to add to the Pentathlon Scottish title he won a couple of weeks ago . He also finished 4th in the Long Jump just 1cm away from the bronze medal.
On Saturday Jonathan Hooper, competing for his school had a busy day , picking up the bronze in the 200m and then going on to win the Long Jump with a distance of 5.39m. Callum Thomson was 3rd on count back in the Long Jump when both him and Luc MacLeod of Banchory jumped 5.21. Ashtin Coutts was 8th also in the Long Jump.
On Sunday also was the Under 20 Women Shot Putt where Teddy Tchoudja finished 2nd with a distance of 13.79m.
Saturday saw Chris Morrison, in one of his first competition , finish 5th in the Under 15 60m final with a PB of 7.74. In the Under 15 Girls 800m Katie Woods finished 6th with Matthew Fox also finishing 6th in the U15 Boys event. Chloe Fox throw a PB in the shot of 6.64 when she finished 9th.
