Another very busy weekend with the Summer Athletic Season now in full swing
Teddy Tchoudja again pulled on her international vest competing at the Loughborough International in the Shot Putt . Coming away with a fantastic performance finishing 3rd in a presonal best of 15.33m .This moves her to 6th in the all-time performances by a Scot.
Sunday saw action turn to Ravenscraig in Greenock with the Under 12 Superteams Event, Shettleston Harriers A team of Joseph, Ameila, Charlotte and Heidi won the team event and qualify for the final on the 24th June at Scotstoun with Joseph winning the individual gold medal.

Also Theirry, Tristan, Louis, Molly, and Fatimah got personal bests in their 75m, Turbo Javelin and Long Jump events. Well done everyone

Parkruns action
Firstly it was over to the Plean Parkrun where Michael Paxton ran a very respectable 17.49 for second place.
At Strathclyde parkrun, Kirsty Mann came in 1st lady on her local and favourite course in a time of 19.39 with Shettleston’s Kirsten Viera Da Luz not far behind in 4th in a time of 21.17.
At Perth Parkrun, Amy Maclellan finished 2nd lady in a time of 19.53.
At Chester Parkrun, Kevin Alston finished in a time of 20.54.
At the Ally Pally Parkrun, Scott Kennedy finished in a time of 21.46.
Tollcross Parkun had the usual large turnout from the club with John Craig taking 2nd place in 19.27, then David Murphy 9th in 22.04 and then Simon Gay 13th in 23.16.
Gerry Mason continued his good racing form with another parkrun at Drumpellier in a time of 25.16
Finally Melanie finished the Forfar Parkrun which is a new one that hasn’t been reported on.
