The Emirates Arena has been a busy place over the last few days , with the Scottish Schools, University Championships, Masters Championships (& Para Success) and Relay Finals with people competing at the England Athletics Age Group (U15/U17/U20) Indoor at Sheffield
First on Wednesday and Thursday was the School Schools Indoor Championships at the Emirates Arena. Plenty of personal bests for the club athletes competing for their school

Saturday saw the turn of the Scottish Universities Indoor Championships , in the Shot Putt Teddy Tchoudja improved her championship best to 13.29m when picking up the title. Morgan Findlay was 3rd in the Triple Jump with a best of 10.59m
The Masters, Relays Finals and Para Success Scottish Championships provided the action on Sunday at the Emirates Arena. In the Relays our Under 17 Team of Imante Gkontouin, Lucky Fadun, Michael Conteh and Maynard Conteh smashed the club record for the 4 x 200m by 2 seconds and picked up the Scottish Titles. Our Under 15 team of Chris Morrison, Matthew Fox, Callum Thomson and Ashton Coutts just finished outside medals in 4th place, well done everyone.

In the Masters Events John Scott throw a British Indoor Best for O80 when he picked up the gold medal in 11.14m in a Championship Best , well done John. Not to be outdone Angus McInroy won the O35 shot also in a Championship Best of 15.30m.
Carson Graham started his day off in the 60m Hurdles running 9.18i (just 0.01 off his season best) to finsih first 045. In the Long Jump he won the O45 title with a Championship Best of 5.84i
Iain Burns also had a busy running 2.13.16 in the 800m and with a time of 4.28.23 in the 800m
Lidya Woldeselassie recorded a personal best of 12.23i in the 60m running her first indoor race over the distance in the Para Success , well done Lidya
After the Schools Jonathon Hooper made the trip to Sheffield for theEngland Athletics Age Group (U15/U17/U20) Indoor , Jonathan ran a personal best in the 60m (7.69i) and finished 4th in the Long Jump with a jump of 5.45m.
