The main action this weekend was indoors at Tollcross and the Emirates Arena with Carson Graham competing in the GAA Pole Vault event on Friday night jumping 2.50m. Sunday it was the shoot of our Young athletes in SAIL Indoor League Match 2. Results of the match are not yet available. Many thanks to our team of Officials and Team Managers who helped on the day. Next weekend see the first West Cross Country League event in Linn Park . No pre entry and the club covers the cost of entry – You will be issued with a number. Parkruns – Tollcross Win for Ronnie, Elena sub 19 at Victoria Park and other results
Only a brisk wind remained on Saturday morning, with a handful of Shetts getting a parkrun in before some Christmas shopping.
Raymond Loughran finished Pollok Parkrun in a time of 32 min dead.

Ellie & Rebecca at Tollcross
Ronnie Strachan was king of Tollcross for the day with a much awaited win in a time of 18.09 on the tough hilly course. David Murphy ran 24.57, Rebecca Ryan 29.42, Joanne Harkins 29.57 with Ellie Ryan running 36.12.
Elena Heger and Jodie Waite tried their luck with the fast stuff at Victoria Parkrun. Elena was 8th overall and 1st female in a time of 18.55. Jodie also ran well with a time of 26.21 and 33rd female.
At Queens Parkrun, Andrew Taylor tested himself against the unforgiving hills on the 5k course, finishing 3rd overall in a time of 18.26.
Finally it was good to see John Duffy back at Palacerigg Parkrun after a spell of injury. John ran 22.51 for 7th place.
