Sunday 12th December saw the 2nd Match in the Scottish Indoor League at the Emirates Arena with 26 club athletes competing from Under 11 to Under 20

The event saw some great performances with 22 personal bests.

Our Under 11 Girls finished 2nd team overall with Charlotte Reilly (PB 60m & PB St Long Jump), Eilidh Stephen (PB 600m), Jessica Thomson (PB 60m & PB St Long Jump (1st overall)) and Zoe Roberts (PB 600m)

Not to be outdone our Under 11 Boys also recorded PBs in their events , Mitchell McIntosh (PB 600m) and Joseph Lanahan recorded 2 PB’s to win the 60m and St Long Jump to finish 4th Team overall

The Under 13 Girl team of Leia Connelly (PB 200m), Daisy Gildea (800m), Hannah Black (PB Long Jump) and Alana Habte (PB and 1st in Shot) finished in 7th place

The Under 13 Boys finished 3rd team with Abraham Lanahan recording a PB to win the 60m and 1st in Shot, Murray Graham and Sam McGowan just outside their pb’s in their 200m and 800m. Lucas Millican’s PB in the 60m Hurdles saw him finish 3rd.

The Under 15 Age Group saw plenty of PB’ s and wins for our athletes , Naomi Wylie competing for the first time in 60m (PB) and Long Jump (PB). Ava Millican showed her determination to finish 1st in a 300m PB, with Katie Woods continuing her recent good form to win the 800m. Alicja Taborak took a massive 2secs off her 60m Hurdles PB. Amy McCallum recorded another PB in the Shot. Jonathan Hooper was first in the 60m with a PB with Callum Thomson also recording a PB in the 400m

Jessica Grant ran 2.47.75 in the U17 800m, Michael Conteh ran a PB in the U17 60m, Lucky Fadun ran 54.11 in the U17 400m, with Adam Clifford run 2.17.81 in the U17 800m

Teddy Tchoudja completed a trio of 1st in the Shot when she won the U20 in 13.75i
