Last weekend Fionnuala Ross placed 8th in the Irish Cross Country Championships in Carrickart. It was a bit of a heart break as she missed selection for Ireland by 7 secs for the European Cross Country Championships due to take place in Italy in December.
Even further afield Gkontouin Imante ran for Glasgow in the inaugural inter city challenge in Berlin.
Glasgow won and he was part of the winning 4 x 200m relay team.
The SATS Challenge – Club of the year has seen improvement by the club in the Age groups from U/13 to the U/17 age groups. Well done to the athletes and coaches.

Parkrun action: PB for Emma and win for John at Palacerigg
Firstly it was to Pollok parkrun where Denis Williams finished in 12th position in a time of 19.32.
At Strathclyde parkrun, Paul Mcguigan ran 21.26 for 25th place.
Emma Purdie ran 21.32 at springburn parkrun for a personal best and 1st woman.
At Queens Parkrun John Connaghan ran 19.26 for second place.
Finally at Palacerigg Country Parkrun, John Duffy came first in a time of 20.30. Well done John well deserved.
