It was the turn of our U13,U15 and U/20 to compete in their National Championships over the weekend.
The club supported travel to Aberdeen to the excellent Aberdeen Sports Village .On day one of the Championships we had a number of athletes over a range of events with many achieving PB performances. Many thanks to all the coaches and parents who made the trip to Aberdeen to support the athletes.

Joseph Lanahan U/13 winning medals in the Long Jump 4.76 (Silver ) PB and 100m 13.00 (Silver) PB and a 5th in the High Jump -1.32
Louise Clifford U/13 Javelin Bronze PB 20.07m
Katie Woods moved up a age group and claimed her second National medal in recent weeks with a 3rd place and PB 5.28.53 in the U/20 S/C
Godwin Imante ran 10.84 in his heat of the U/20 100m and unfortunately in the final he had problems with cramp finishing 5th in 10.94
In the heat Maynard Conteh of the 100m ran 11.54 PB
Two young ladies (u/13) ran the timed 800m -Zoe Roberts (2.31.89) PB and Charlotte Reilly (2.53.21)

As we move towards the winter season a number of Shettleston athletes cross over the river Clyde to Paisley to take part in the 10km .The race had close to 2000 runners taking part
