Weekend Round up – Scottish Athletics YA Road Races, Alloa 1/2 and ParkRun

The Young athletes finished off their winter season in fine style in a sunny Greenock on Sunday. 11 young athletes made the trip down the coast to the excellent course round Battery Park.

First up were the U/13 girls with Imogen Millar(33rd) leading her club mate Daisy Gildea(38th) and Kate Monaghan(51st ) to 8^th team overall.

Next up were the U/13 Boys with Sam McGowan first home for the club in 50^th position closely followed by Lucas Millican in 54^th.

Katie Woods confirmed her excellent form all winter finishing 10^th in the U/15 girls leading clubmates Emma Leiper(35th) and Ava Millican(37th) to 5^th team.

The U/15 boys finished 6^th team with Matthew Fox (24th) ,Joseph Reilly (41st ) and Adam Clifford(45th)

As we finish off the winter season it is important to thank all the coaches and parents who have made a major contribution to all the events.
