Last weekend saw a number of the club’s Senior and Under 17 athletes competing at the Scottish Championships at Grangemouth.

Teddy Tchoudja started an eventful week by winning the Scottish Senior Shot title. On Wednesday she made the trip to Manchester to compete for Scotland in the Manchester International. On her last throw she throw the shot 13.90m to win. Well done Teddy

Teddy was one of a number of the club’s field eventers who picked up a medal at the Scottish . In the Hammer Chris Bennett won with a throw of 70.88 with David Little picking up the bronze medal. John Scott’s athletes picked up the their 2nd Scottish Title when Jay McCarthy won the under 17 title. Angus McInroy finished 2nd in both the Shot and Discus. Another double medallist was Andrew McFarlane who was 3rd in the Javelin and 2nd in the Pole Vault. Morgan Findlay was 7th in the Triple Jump with a distance of 10.78m

On the track Daniel Bradford was 9th with a time 3.55.40 in the 1500m final, Chris McGarrity ran 4.15.61 in the heats. David Woods ran 2.15.71 in the 800m. The Under 17 100m saw Michael Conteh run a personal best of 12.03 with brother, Maynard , also getting a PB of 12.72.
