The membership fee covers the insurance the club has to pay to Scottish Athletics for each member, coaching education (all our coaches are unpaid and volunteers), entry fees into certain events (SA events are now going up to £10 per entry per person), leagues and club championships costs as well as general club running costs. It also allows you get to various discounts for use of the tracks in Glasgow (see the website, your coach or Glasgow Sport Athletic venues for more details).
