Alexandra Park will be the venue for the Inter -District /UK Cross Challenge on the 11th January 2025. The venue is steeped in the history of our sport with the Alexandra Park Club running Cross Country events in 1870 long before Clydesdale Harriers the oldest club in Scotland were formed. Shettleston Harriers has the privilege of hosting the event and will be well represented in the Inter District teams. Congratulations to all the athletes selected:

Senior Ladies – Lynn McKenna, Emily Carroll

Senior Men -Taha Ghafari, Jamie Burns , Ross Good -Ross will make his debut for the club 

We are making an appeal for marshals and people to set up the course – Set up from around 7am and marshals from around 10am

Congratulations to everyone who competed in the West District Cross Country League in the season 2023- 2024. At the first match of the 2024-2025 season Club President, Elaine Mackay, presented the Male Section trophy to Andrew Taylor who received it on behalf of the club. We have got off to a great start this year’s with both Senior Men /Senior Ladies winning and numerous great performances in Linn Park last weekend.
