His older brother, Abraham (U/15) was also in the medals winning the Triple Jump (11.78) and picking up the bronze in the Long Jump (5.34). Abraham also ran a personal best in the 60m (7.98). Great weekend for the Lanahan family. The jumps showed a great return for the club with Morgan Findlay (Sen) picking up the bronze (10.47)  in the Triple Jump. Fresh from his silver medal at the English Championships,  Jonathan Hooper won Gold in the U/17 Long Jump 6.32 when competing for Glasgow School of Sport.

Godwin Imante continued his progress when winning the U/20 60m in a swift 6.95 and his training partner, Emmanuel Nyamekye, just missed his PB in the Senior 60m when he ran 7.37

Molly Brown  U/13 was also in action clocking a PB over 60m (9.17) and just missing her PB in the Long Jump when she jumped 3.26 ,

To round off a successful weekend at the indoors for the club Angus McInroy took Gold in the Senior Men’s Shot with a distance of 14.12

Teddy Tchoudja made the trip to Birmingham to compete in the UK Championships in the Shot ,finishing 7th with a season best of 13.92

There was disappointment for Weyany Ghebresilasie and Fionnuala Ross in Seville over the marathon distance. Weyany was on pace  and in the group which went on to achieve the Olympic Qualifying time. An achilles problem struck and he was forced to retire around the 30km mark. He will look to another marathon in the near future. Like Weynay, Fionnuala did not have a good experience in Seville  and stopping just after 30km .

Hannah  Terrance  completed her preparations for the National next weekend and the  European Clubs with a 2nd place in the HillBillys 10km at the weekend
