It was the turn of the club’s Young Athletes to have their Christmas Handicap at Crownpoint Sports Complex with 54 people turning up on the night. Jayden McAllister was first over the line picking up the Boy’s Trophy, Emily Fuge was next in picking up the Under 9 Title for 2018 pipping Lucas McGarrity on the line who won the silver Under 9 medal. Not to be outdone by her sister, Sophie Fuge, won the Girls Title

In the Boys Race Matthew Collins was 2nd with Ruaridh Collins in 3rd place. Emily Chatham was 2nd in the Girls Race with Devyn Taylor winning the bronze medal.

Johnny Burns was the fastest on the day when he broke the 6 minute barrier with a scratch time of 5:43, 2nd and fastest girl was Erin Ellor who recorded a time of 6:02, 3rd fastest was Matthew Fox with a time of 6:18 getting the better of Adam Clifford by 1 second.

Also thank you to everyone who bought a ticket for the Christmas Raffle, Daniel  Fyffe-Jardine of Sported did the honours at the draw with Bill Breckenridge name pulled out first for the £350 first prize and Brian Robertson picked up two tickets for the Canival, thank you Daniel and thank you to Mark Grant for organising the raffle..
