Shettleston athletes made the short trip to Kirkcaldy on Saturday for the Short Course Scottish Championships .

Lachlan Oates and Jamie Burns were the pick of the Shettleston athletes with both coming away with medals .

Lachlan just missed on Gold with Anglo Scot Cameron Boyek (Central AC) just holding him off in the home straight. Lachlan again highlighted his good form following on from his PB over 10km the previous week. He now looks forward to the Liverpool European Cross Trials on the 25th November. His young team mate Jamie Burns will join him in Liverpool in the U/17 event. He put in a great performance over the muddy course in Kirkcaldy to finish 3rd in a tight finish
.

Gregor Campbell also returned to good form in the u/15 event finishing 6th in his first year in the age group and Kasey Fraser finished 41st in the same race.Joining Jamie Burns in the U/17 event were Lewis Raeburn 34th and Cameron Campbell 42nd .The U/17 team finished 6th not too far off the medals.
