Again all attention was at the Emirates Arena this weekend. Carson Graham had a busy Sunday at the Scottish Masters Indoor Championships, picking up a gold in the Long Jump (5.93m), gold in the High Jump(1.60m), gold in the 60m Hurdles and a 7.81 60m to finish just outside the medals in 4th.

On Saturday it was the Scottish 4 x 200m Indoor Championships. The Under 13 Girls Team of Violet Campbell, Katie Woods, Tia Clark and Beatrice Wainwright were first up and ran really well (Unofficial time of 2.14.00). Ethan Ofeogbu, Adam Clifford, Matthew Fox and Jonathan Hooper combine well to break the Club Record and qualify for the Under 13 Boys final. Not to be outdone the Under 15 Boys (Ruaridh Campbell, Maynard Conteh, Jay Millar, Michael Conteh) also qualified for the final. A special mention has also to be given to Chloe Fox and Callum Thomson who came along as reserves and supported their teammates. The finals for these events will be on Friday 1st March alongside the European Indoor Championships, great opportuntity for the boys to mix with the best athletes in Europe.

The club got some great news from New Zealand, Ross Gollen won the Shotover Moonlight Mountain Marathon (Queensland) by 13mins 49 secs in a time of 4.33.00 hours.

On Saturday was the Glasgow University Road Race and while we do not have the results as yet, we know that Paul Sorrie, Brian Robertson, Adam Peters, Dan Lowe and John Duffy ran (please accept our apologies if anyone has been missed)
