The FIT group is delighted to be back out running again and having some fun at the same time. Since resuming the group sessions we have welcomed 5 new group members: Clare, Mel, Mark, Gillian & Aileen. Each Tuesday evening we offer different options (a social run as well as hills or intervals) and we make sure each option caters to all levels of fitness. Our group prioritises mental wellbeing and all 5 coaches (Joe, Susan, Dave, Gerry & Anne-Frances) are really proud of the progress members have made and the ongoing support we are able to provide during difficult and stressful times in people’s lives. Group members have kept in touch during lockdown encouraging each other and posting news and views of their running experiences.
Last Tuesday our social run took in some Glasgow murals and we all had a great evening checking out some of the Billy Connolly ones and other nice ones in the city centre that were new for most of us. We welcome new members with an emphasis on running being Fun, Inclusive & Together.
