The 2^nd race of the Babcock series moved to Dumbarton this week. The race was also the Scottish Athletics West District 10km Road Championships. Our marathon men are doing us proud with Chris McGarrity taking 2^nd place (31.43) behind the inform John Bell of Inverclyde AC .Chris also lead the men’s team to 1^st place again, following their win in Helensburgh last week. Matthew Turner finished 5^th (32.40) 47 seconds faster than is time at Helensburgh. Again Fergus Donnelly improved his PB in 14^th position  posting a time of 34.06 to complete the winning team. Kirsty Mann had a fantastic run smashing her PB by over a minute  A number of other Shettleston Athletes travelled to Dumbarton to compete in this very popular series .The Dumbarton race having 770 athletes entered.
