Teddy Tchoudja is currently on a golden streak of form when she again broke the National Age group record for the second time in two weeks, she improved her record to 14.30m at the Scottish Schools Indoor Championships on Wednesday at the Emirates. A number of other club members were also competing but we have no results as yet.
On Sunday it was the turn of our Under 12 athletes to take centre stage at the Emirates Arena for the Scottish Athletics Superteams Indoor Championships. Each team member had to compete in the 60m, Long Jump, Shot Putt and 4 x 200m. The Boys team of Matthew Fox, Callum Thomson, Ben McLuskey and Jonathan Hooper turned in some outstanding performances and plenty of personal bests to pick up their first National Medals when they won by 119 points from Kilbrachan AC who beat Kilmarnock Harriers by 1 point. The Girls A team of Hannah McNicol , Amelia Roberts, Chloe Fox , Katie Woods and the Girls B team of Imogen Millar, Sophie Fuge, Rebecca Fuge, Emily Chatham also turned in some excellent performances with the girls running, jumping or throwing 18 personal bests
On the road it was the Kirkintilloch 12.5k on Sunday with Andrew Gibson finishing 27th and David Murphy was 76th.
