The first major event of 2020 kicked off at the Emirates Arena with the BMC/GAA Miler Meeting (and Scottish 3000 Championships). Lucas Cheskin finished 11th in Heat 4 in a time of 9:18.60i. David Woods ran in heat 8 and smashed his personal best by 53 seconds to record a time of 10:11.33i to finish 16th. The shot was won by Angus McInroy who recorded his best distance since 2015 when he throw 14.54i.

On New Years Day we had two club members who turned out at the Portobello Promathon 4 Mile Race, Peter Avent finished 4th with Ross Cruickshanks finishing 34th.

Over the last few days a number of club members were running in a number of Parkruns all over the country.
